--One The first thing we ask is that
everyone be treated with respect, members, guests, and staff alike. On further note, keep fights IC, and out of the cbox. If you have an issue with a member feel free to message each other to work it out, or pm a staff member so we might be able to help straighten it out. And while on the subject of staff members, please remember that they are in a staff position, and thus have rightfully earned it. What they say is usually correct; and we do not wish for any fights to break out in which a member is arguing with a staff member. We also would like to keep all staff member issues in the staff room, especially debates and discussions.
----Two The site is to remain at a
PG 13 rating at all times. This means cursing
is allowed, as well as blood and mentions of adult situations, but keep it reasonable and non-explicit; characters should not be cursing every two words and you should not be going into depth of a character's "roll in the hay" with someone else. Keep in mind as well that some members may not like or approve of cursing at all; if they ask you not to curse with your character, please respect their wishes best you can. If your thread leans toward excessive cursing and mild descriptions of more mature themes, mark the thread title as so: "{M} thread title." Keep any topics with severe graphic detail to private messages.
--Three Alright now that the respect issue is out of the way, time to discuss the process of signing up. We ask that you join with your
OOC ACCOUNT FIRST. All plotter threads, applications, and sign ups should be done with your OOC account, not your character account. Only after a character application is accepted can you make their account. Remember to sign up with the character's
FULL NAME in all caps.
----Four Okay next, posting. We would like all posts to be at least
250 words long. That's not to much, we just want to make sure that everyone provides good descriptions and enough words to help the replier reply. And please, try and keep the writing amount even. If someone writes a 1000 word post, we don't ask for you to match it, but to write more than a paragraph in response. Practice does help you grow. Also, remember
no power playing, or godmodding. We like to keep things real, as well as nice, and we don't like having upset members because of power playing and godmodding.
----Five Next, graphics. We all love gorgeous, pretty images - correct? For
human images we prefer that they be actresses/models/etc, and not random people on deviantart. We do not mind you having characters with YOUR face, but we would like it to be a known face, and not a random individual located through stock sites. And, please avoid stretching the board, as well. We ask that the images be kept to about
550 px in width, or link them. It makes everything so much prettier that way <3
--++IC CBOX & CBOX Rules
--One The Chat Box is not to be treated any different from the site as a whole. Any and all rules apply to the c-box as well as the site. Respect members and keep personal fights to PMs and away from the general public. Please create a profile for your name in the box; this helps prevent impersonation.
----Two No spamming or impersonation of any type will be permitted. Spamming is the repetitive posting of the same statement multiple times. On another note, no advertising sites in the CBox; we have an advertisement board specifically there for your advertisement needs. Once again, members are advised to create a profile on the CBox to prevent someone impersonating you.
----Three The ICC Box is a privilege and is to be treated as such. Members do not have to go through the whole creation process to simply ICC their character. Members are expected to post MORE than they ICC; ICC is a simple gift. If anyone is seen abusing it, it will be removed completely. Members are not to ignore posts on the site in favor of ICC.
